Welcome to The Prebble Patch : Making periods simple and stigma free
Hi there! I'm Lisa, the founder of The Prebble Patch a space dedicated to making menstrual health simple, stigma-free, and easy to understand for everyone.
If you've ever felt confused about your cycle, wished you had learned more about periods growing up, or struggled to find the right products and information you're not alone. That's-exactly why I created The Prebble Patch.
Why I Started The Prebble Patch
As a Mum, Nurse, and someone who has navigated my own menstrual journey, I know firsthand how important it is to understand our cycles. But growing up, conversations about periods were often hushed, awkward, or missing altogether.
I was raised by my dad, along with my sisters and brother, and while he did his best, periods weren't something we openly talked about. (Love you dad but you were super awkward!). At school, we learned the basics, but it wasn't enough to prepare us for the reality of managing our cycles. Like many, I pieced together information from magazines (Yes Dolly Doctor, IYKYK), friends, and trial and error.
Now, at 30, Ive learned so much about how our hormones impact our mood, energy, and well-being -knowledge I wish I had sooner. And I want to share it with you.
